My Cafe Build

Post by deez » Wed Nov 21, 2007 2:21 am

well im a proud owner of a few basket case superhawks and on my way to my first build. im going the cafe route. with the help of everyones know how on this forum, good ol davomoto working away on the engine, the guru silver books, and a few cases of beer it should be finished in no time. so while davo is documenting the engine resto ill keep you posted on the progress of the rest of it for this collaboration project. to start off is some pics of the start of making a budget race triple. will post more pics once i get it back from the welder.

well its been a while, so here is a bit of an update. wheels laced up on some nice excel shouldered rims with buchanan spokes, avon tires, engine rebuilt, shaved frame of battery box and a few other things, got a nice seat from airtech, shaved triple clamp risers, and added clip ons. so these are some pics of the start of the mock-up. will post updates when more progress has been made. now i have to give a shout out to davomoto, i couldnt have done any of this without him he did the engine rebuild, laced the rims, and assisted in every step of the way (thanks davo!)
