I've been out of the cast for a couple weeks, have limited use of my right hand, but enough to get it torn down and some repairs done. For some reason can't load pictures. Left side tank dent is not noticeable, only remaining crease is under the pad. Right side side came out okay but the paint cracked and chipped off. I expected that though, it was cracked before I started the repair. The brake pedal is straightened, doesn't look perfect but fine from 10 ft. The fender came out better than I expected, but I still have to work on the bracket, it was pretty twisted up. The upper fork tubes are the other issue. The left one was badly bent at the small diameter on top and just below the triple tree. The right one isn't so bad. Clamped in a vice and supported turning the upper part the runout just below the triple tree was 0, at the top of the large diameter about .018" and at the very top of the small diameter about .044". Not a lot, but I'm going to replace both uppers anyway. Not running perfectly parallel could cause damage and more repairs later.
Had a spare brake lever and headlight. Got the dent out of the headlight support where it hit the tank. The chrome headlight ring wasn't perfect to start with, after I straightened it there only I would know there was an additional dimple I couldn't get out.

Sounds like you're both on the mend. You'll be riding again in no time.

Broke down and got NOS upper tubes from eBay, nice parts. Have the legs assembled, next is getting them in the triple tree. I did some considerable straightening on the triple tree to get everything back in proper alignment. I checked this with the headlight mounts off and used the new tubes for line up before I put them in the lower legs .
As far as my wrist goes, casts all off, but still pain in the wrist, so I'm holding off on riding for now. Weather has turned to wet so it's not too hard to resist.

Right you are lm. It had been over 30 years since I'd been on a bike when got my Dream, felt like I'd ridden the day before.
I Got it together, doesn't look too bad if you don't look too close.
