Nice work G-man, I like the way you stacked the washers. Looks like your getting there.

Graham, i guess I shouldn't take my speedo drive apart! Your post was timely, I've been considering doing just that!

Well, no real progress has been made as I have spent most of July and August traveling. I did manage to pick up this nice early NOS rear brake stay but it is shorter than the one on the bike and I think is earlier than mine. Nice to have as a swap , though.

Also - we got the first set of pipes made to patterns. These are stainless and modeled on some CB72 and C72 pipes we provided. I haven't had time to check these yet but they look nice and even if they need adjustment they look pretty close. If we can get some interest we will have 10 or so sets made but not until we are sure that they are 'right'.

PM me if you are interested.

Those are beautiful pipes G. I've got some catching up to do.

Steve

Great to have you back! Not much progress on my end too much travel / work. I shall get the pipes measured this weekend and see if we can get a batch done. They won't be that cheap but, hopefully, they will be good.

I don't like doing any thing delecate or important after one of my trips so I have been pulling apart a really horrible-looking C72 cylinder head that Alan W kindly have me. Underneath all the rust and grime is a perfect head casting with 10mm plugs a nice set of cams and a tidy set of rockers.

The sprocket might be recoverable but the demon rust has got the cams and the points shaft. The head is the real prize though as I think I have a spare set of internals.

Fun to unwrap the NOS stuff isn't it.
