Thank you, Tim. It's nice to hear from anyone watching.
Left side done after a bit of floundering around. I learned to install the clutch, primary chain and drive sprocket together after first installing the sprocket alone. I thought there'd be enough chain slack to fit over the clutch sprocket, but no. Thanks to a forum friend for the email help in getting the sprocket nut tight.
Now to install the left side cover. New o-rings for the oil filter cover, new screws for that cover and new cover screws. My only dilemma is the odd screw in the photo below. The parts schematic shows it going through the cover as shown, but what is the exposed thread then used for? I have absolutely no idea.
I'm installing the oil pump next. How did I get 3 sets of gaskets? I think the carb cleaner fumes are getting to me. Oh well, spares.

Thanks, Chase. The mystery bolt is shown on the parts list (see pic below) as reference #19, "bolt, leg shield", from serial number C77E-A10001, part number 90089-259-000. I bought it new because it wasn't included in the screw set I bought. There is, however, a standard screw of that length in the kit and I'll use that. Makes you wonder though. What did Honda originally intend for it? Was there something mounted there on older Dream models? We'll probably never know.
EDIT:
DUH! The light just dawned! How thick can I be? It's used to mount leg shields. The leg shield schematic shows it used to mount a bracket to which the shield is attached.
