thanks davo ! quite excited to be wrapping it up.
after sitting on the solo seat, adjusting it to where it's most comfortable ... i don't much care for it. swiped the double seat off my ca95, jerry rigged the rear mount a little bit. seems alot more comfortable and i think looks just as good - if not better. added bonus - the wife is now smiling as she gets to ride too. gotta keep the mrs. happy! if this is all it takes ... double seats on all my bikes !

Looking good! With the exception of MY CB77 cafe' bike, all of mine are passenger friendly, even my XR650R Supermoto. My wife loves to ride with me, and is an awsome passenger. She has her own dirt bike, a Yamaha TTR125LE. She tolerates my old Honda obsession quite nicely, so I too try to keep her happy.

I would never have considered the satin finish, but it actually looks pretty good!

although there are a few things i intend to change ( nicer seat, cable set, still on the fence on the horn paintjob ), i'm calling her 'done for now' and putting it on the street this week. i can't emphasize enough how appreciative i am of all the kind people here willing to share thier valuable knowledge and time to help those of us who are poor uninformed newbies. Without this site i don't know if i'd have had the courage to undertake such a process. hope you all enjoy, and the 'purists' don't dislike her too much ! again - take comfort in that everything i did was cosmetic <smile> and nothing is irreversible ( other than my new addiction to old hondas ). Thanks !

Threeb, don't ride that out at night, mate; you'll be invisible! A stealth bomber on 2 wheels there!

Reminds me: I once went to a surplus store for a pair of camouflage pants but couldn't find any......

advice taken ! currently im driving on a PA permit, so nightdriving isnt allowed regardless ... the little bit of it i've done, in a dark private parking lot, was ominous.

as the day went on the temperature rose and i took off my camoflauge outer hunting jacket ... havent seen it since.
