Time to Dream! The rims, headers and many chrome parts looked so bad I thought I was going to have to find replacement pieces. I found a thread someplace that talked about soaking rusted things in phosphoric acid (woods bleach, found at hardware stores). Man did it work great, soaked for a few hrs and the rust wiped right off. Usually the source was only a tiny pin sized source.
Like I said before, I looked at lots of pics to put this thing back together. This one is me taking a pic of a dream at the Barbers Motorcycle Museum. Took lots of them and studied them

So now its complete, I hope. Ive only got to drive it a couple of blocks so far due to our late spring, but so far so good. Sounds good, no oil leaks, electrics work. First time outside and able to sit on it. Boy, smaller than I thought.. never got to sit on one before. Just admired them when I was a kid.
