Yeah, but no idea why. I bought it like it, painted the whole bike white, then sold* it like it. Only ever had a tank badge in the left side, and that was cracked at the screw holes (weren't they all?)...G-Man wrote:That's interesting. You had a ventilated front hub, too!

*Correction: straight-swapped it with a mate for a lovely little black C95 (150cc baby Dream), the lead-up to which is documented on the forum: I'd had the tank off to spray it white, and I removed stuff, away from the frame tube -- throttle cables included-- in order to do the same. Upon re-assembly I found that it would happily start with no choke applied, but it soon started to black-smoke and dropped to around half its usual mpg.
After a couple of weeks I found that I couldn't afford to gas it -- I was tenderly sixteen and apprenticed -- so my (better-informed) 'mate' offered a swap for his '65 C95. I swear he knew what the fix would be...
