Deez, looks like you're really making progress. Can't wait to see her when tail is painted, and tank is installes. The pics don't do this bike justice, as Deez has spent an incredible amount of time with each detail. Keep plugging away sir, we'll be ripping up Mt Tam soon!

Lookin' great Deez. Cant wait to see it completed.

I would really like to see some additional shots of the shifter assembly. It would be really great if it was a bolt on part - where did you find them? I made my own shifter rod but had to put a pretty good bend in it to clear the shifter during gear changes. I thought about extending the linkage attachment on the shifter arm or motor, but they were both newly cadded parts from LM and I didn't have the heart to butcher them up. It works ok, but i really don't have that much adjustment due to the bend.

thanks davo, yeah man i cant wait to ride that road again! and thanks byrd ill take some more pics of the shifter assembly this weekend when i get back to work on this thing. the shifter part number is posted above the photo. it was written with marker on the side of the shifter itself. if you find out where to get it please let me know. i came across it in a box of parts that i picked up along with the multiple basket cases that i purchased. as far as that shifter rod, waste of money! not as sturdy as the ones davo had made. the only cool part about this shifter rod though is that it has left and right hand threads so you can really fine tune it while its all bolted up.

Man that thing looks great. That shifter tang for the shifter rod looks to be a bit longer than mine to allow for the shifter to stroke up and down with out interfering with the adjustable rod. I could be wrong but i'll take a look at it when I get home. The pictures are a huge help.

My shifter position may be a little bit more counter clockwise than yours as well (further down) - It just seemed to fit me a bit more.

I'll check it out when I get home.

Thanks again for the link - some very cool stuff.
