CL72 rear sprocket

Post by davomoto » Wed May 25, 2011 8:34 pm

Anyone have a decent CL72 40 tooth rear sprocket to sell or trade? It must be for a 520 chain. I bought one on Ebay, and then the seller refunded my money because they were no longer available. I've e-mailed a couple other sellers, but they couldn't be bothered to let me know if they were for a 520 or 530 chain! Rusty is OK, I can replate it, worn out does me no good. I'll buy it or trade for other parts.

Thanks in advance, Davo

I'll have a look. I have a box full of new rear sprockets also.

Have rebelgears.com cut you one. They are reasonably priced and you can get any tooth/pitch combination your heart deires.

Thanks George! If I can't find a stock steel sprocket, I'll give them a try!

Davo,
I've got your sprocket. I don't have a loose piece of 520 here to check but I,m sure it's the one.
Had it on my flat track racer and went up to a 48 for the 1/5 mile. .230 thick, 40 teeth, 3.426 ID. 4) 10mm holes on 113mm centers. Used but very good condition with fresh zinc. Yours if you want.
I'm going to big brake hubs on the next bike.

Mark
