Mine took a hit somewhere in its lifetime and has suffered a serious dent. If anyone has a spare, please drop me a line. Thanks!

What it is

Post by 305explr » Sun Mar 01, 2009 11:12 am

My manual calls it a "fork rib." Honest! It's the chrome ring between the headlight bracket and the fork cover. There's one on each fork leg.

Here's a pic of mine. I've repaired the dent to the best of my ability, but the rubber cushion that sits within the rim of it now doesn't sit quite flat, and the outside of the the ring has suffered some cosmetic damage. And it cracked...

If anyone has an extra one...

MY PARTS BOOK CALLS IT A FORK RIM. THERE ARE TWO OR THREE DIFFERENT ONES LISTED FOR CB77, NEED YOUR FRAME NUMBER TO TELL IF I HAVE THE RIGHT ONE.
