I bought some 0.9 pitch M5 screws from them last year. I just bought a pack of the ones he is advertising just to check for certain.

Let us know, G. It would be nice to have a source available.

I've just purchased some of the M5 countersunk oval headed screws from Mr Megapack as per Gman's link and can confirm that they are 0.8 pitch and not JIS 0.9 . I also checked the alternator cover screws I got from Dave Silver a while ago and they are 0.8 pitch too. I've had standard headed M5 0.9 pitch screws from Mr Megapack in the past but don't know of any current source for countersunk oval headed screws of the correct JIS pitch for the alternator cover. Guess I'll just have to refurbish my old ones for my current CB72 rebuild.

Phil

Looks like I'll have the same screws tomorrow!

Maybe an M5 helicoil would put things right.

Doesn't say how, but here are some "modified" to .9 pitch?
