Just thought I would ask if any of you good folks happen to have a spare left-side air cleaner cover ?? I have a right side one , bet this is the one everyone has !

no , the triangular shaped air cleaner cover , left side behind the carb. attaches to the frame. I have a right side part , looking for the left one , thanks for trying !

Are you talking about the carb dust cover or the panel that covers the air filter?

The carb cover is right behind the cylinders on top of the case and is typically painted silver.
The air filter cover is mounted right behind battery and is most likely painted the same color as the frame.

If its the carb cover, they're a hard find, but out there. The air filter panel is easier to find. My suggestion is ebay.

you are right , carb cover and I understand they are hard to come by. I have the right side and am looking for the left. thanks for clarifying for me
