wanted ca72 side covers

I need both the left and right side covers (the ones that go over the battery and electrical components) for a 1963 ca72. I have some ca77 covers but they do not fit on my ca72. The ones for the ca72 appear to be deeper. The bike is a 1963 ca72 frame with a 1966 ca77 305 engine in it. So the bike is now 12 volt. I have lots of 305 bike and engine parts and am willing to trade or just pay for the parts.
Let me know what you have and pictures are great.

CA72 and CA77 side covers are the same.I think they just changed the size in later years.

Measure the depth of the side covers and post. I may have the ones you need. Mike

Then I need the early side covers, then ones for a bike that was originally 6 volt.

I have a 66 Dream but it's in my in-laws garage several miles away so it's not handy to compare them with.
If you could post the measurements or pics of what you have I could see if I have any the right size here in my attic.

I wasn't aware that 1963 305 Dreams were 6 volt. I thought it was the 150's that were 6v

Can anyone confirm this?

The dream was originally a 250 but I put a 305 in it. As far as the year, that is what I was told when I bought it and am not 100% sure, it could be older. I scanned a diagram of the measurements of my side covers. The 3.25 inch is the bottom flange that extends deeper then anything else. I also attached a picture of the bike, although I wish it was of the battery side. I would need covers that are deeper then the 1.25 inch that mine are.

Cole,I'll pm you. The covers I have are from an early 65 with the short wide battery.
