"hot wire" a CA77 without ignition switch?"hot wire" a CA77 without ignition switch? How would I go about hot wiring a ca77 with a non functioning ignition switch? I may just by pas it if possible and use a switch of some sort? Thanks for any help!
You just need to get battery voltage to the black wire. Run a wire from the battery post to any black wire in the harness: brake light switch, starter relay, neutral light socket(in the headlight), turn signal flasher. Old wiring diagrams show two black wires on the horn, one is power and the other is grounded by the horn button, best be careful there.
