Fuse size

Post by Woodsie » Sat Feb 20, 2016 6:41 pm

The fuse on my 66 CA 77 does not have an amp rating on it. It has 7/32 on it which is the diameter and it is 1 inch long. Went to an auto parts store to look for a 15A fuse but they were 1"1/4" long. Where can I get the correct fuse for my bike. Thanks

The original part number, I believe, was 38201-250-000 which superseded to 98200-11500. There are a few on eBay if you search 98200-11500. You may still be able to order it from Honda.

Search for an 8AG 15A fuse - it is a standard type not not as common as the 3AG (1-1/4") fuse.

I am going to change the fuse holder to the 1 1/4" type.
