Dream Voltmeter

Well I still don't trust the marginal charging system. So I have installed a small digital voltmeter to keep an eye on it. Only ON when the key is on. There is a .5VDC drop when the headlight is on. Currently on the charger showing 13.5VDC

Did you wire it directly to the battery, or pick up a switched feed from the harness?
