I have been looking through the posts for the wiring diagram for a 1965 Honda Dream. The one that is floating around does not seem to be a perfect match. Are there any more out there?
One of the questions that I have is on the Neutral Lamp. My lamp has a positive in and a negative ground wire. The diagram that I have has the LGr,R coming from the neutral switch and a black coming from the Combination Switch. Does that mean that the ground wire off the neutral lamp connects to the black wire off the combination switch?
Also, the diagram shows a brown wire coming off the ML connector of the combination switch going to the meter lamp / speedometer. Mine does not have this wire, nor does it look like it ever had one.

No. Black is +12V ignition; the other connects to the L-gn/r and is grounded when in neutral. One of the questions that I have is on the Neutral Lamp. Here's a copy of my coloured-in diagram http://www.honda305.com/forums/viewtopi ... ng+diagram; hope it's of help. Does your speedo not have illumination then?

no!! black is on one side of the bulb, the green stripe is on the other side.Onemilewest wrote:Yes, the speedo has a back light. The combo switch does not have a brown wire. I guess that I will pull it, find the ML solder point and attach a wire.
Just so I understand though. Both the Lgr,R and Black wire connect to the positive in on the neutral lamp with the ground wire to the body?

the black is plus 12 volts from the ignition switch to the bulb to feed in the plus 12 volts........
the green striped wire run from the other side of the bulb down to the nuetral switch.. the green stripe wire is the ground as the neutral switch connects it to ground when the transmission is in neutral. so the bulb always has 12 volts feeding it but only gets a ground on the other wire when the neutral switch goes to ground..
two cl77, three cb77, ca77, ca72, cb160, s65 and cb750
