LED Tail/Brake Light Bulbs...
Good, intelligent call, DD, but not the case, me ol' mate, so I have to disagree. I'm running one, along with a Philips 6-Watt* halogen parking light up front (for day running) and using the dimmer switch in the mid position**, flicking to dipped beam when appropriate attention to my presence is required (the most dangerous thing on Majorcan roads is the Majorcan driver!); I also have a 35/35 halogen headlamp bulb that fits directly into the original Stanley beam unit. My battery remains well-topped-up, charge wise, and I've not needed to replenish the electrolyte all season. Neither have I needed to externally charge it! See my older post: http://www.honda305.com/forums/viewtopi ... highlight= * it has offset pins, but can be forced into the lampholder with no damage and little effort ** not advisable in some US states, where the mid position gives both hi and lo beam filaments
eyedragaknee, what bike do you have? I'm trying to figure out if the 1.8" LED taillight from Customdynamics would fit my 305 '64 dream. If you have the same bike, did you have to make any modification because 1.8" diameter seems HUGE to fit in that taillight cover.
Anyone else with an answer can chime in too!!! Thanks!
