I Took the head light apart when I had the bike repainted. Now I'm reassembling bike and have forgotten how the 3 retainer springs go on to hold the light into the bucket.
All help will be appreciated.

66 CL77 head lightRe: 66 CL77 head lightYou mean the little wire "W" clips? They hold the reflector into the chrome rim. Equispaced around the circumference. I can send a picture if you need it.

Thank you for the photos, I see what I was doing wrong, trying to mount the light in the case instead of the ring. I should have no problem with the light now thanks to your help.
