replacement speedomoter/tach needles

I'm sure NOS gauge needles are few and far between. Has anyone found any other needles that are a relatively close match? or even easy install even if they don't look right? I'd rather have functional and slightly wrong, than original and broken.

This guy is on ebay, high satisfaction rating (99.9%) and seems to have a pile of speedo/tach stuff, including needles. May have something that would work!
