Honda Seat back home

Post by norm-ormond66305 » Sat Dec 29, 2007 7:00 am

While on Christmas vacation, Santa delivered my seat back! Before leaving I sent a cashiers check to Cool Retro Bikes and they sent me a tracking number after they received it. When I returned home I dashed for the box and opened it immediately. TD did a great job re-dying the seat and painting a new stencil on the back that matched the original.
As soon as I get the bike together (doing tank work now) I will take a photo and post it here..
I'm a happy camper now! And I also learned a lesson...restoration usually cannot be rushed.. my wife has a antique auto she restored before I met her and some items she had restored took six months to a year to do..

Nice! The HONDA logo on the seat was BRONZE not SILVER. What a bargain. ...............lm

Sure glad you got yours back! I've done everything including offering to pay for its return. No reply back.

A very good friend of mine, Gordon is now another customer T.D. Bash is screwing with.
Typical no answer to requests about the 2 CL77 seats (complete) which were sent to be restored.
This cat hasn't changed spots.
I still think in my opinion he is a theif. ............lm
