plastic dream badgeplastic dream badgeI recently picked up a set of vintage Dream badges. The left side badge has a milky
haze under the plastic and some crazing. Anyone have an idea on how to get rid of the milkyness? 66 Dream

Mike, if it's near the surface, try polishing with cotton wadding (Duraglit* in UK, Aladdin here in Spain; can't say what it might be branded as in US though [Amway-NASA Miracle Polish - *Have A Nice Day?]) or cutting polish (T-Cut?).
If it has permeated into the structure then I suspect little can be done; perhaps a plastics expert could help. I'm not touting wares but I do have an NOS l/h Honda Dream 300 in perfect as-it-left-the-factory order. It's not cheap, as I want money-back (US$150), but I'd plump for the repros from forumer rrhbyrne@aol.com; I have a pair and they are v-e-e-e-e-r-y close to OEM -- $55 with JIS screws, I think. I also bought a pair from martijne@gmail.com in, The Netherlands, which are also near-perfect but, at €185 plus shipping, are expensive for repros. *In the UK they say " 'Ave A Crap Dey Aht Der In Da 'Hood; An' Enjoy Gettin' Mugged"! badgesSteve, unfortunatley it seems to be permeated.
I've tried polishing with polishing compound with no success. I already have a nice left badge. Thanks for the offer and the advice, Mike 66 Dream
