repo badges

Just got new badges for my Dream and they are very nice. $55.00 from RRHByrne@aol.com.
Mine say 300 Dream and they have cb/cl 72, ca 72 dream 250, cb/cl 77 and early 450 badges as well.
I am very happy with them. As you can see from my picture I need a Horn.

Looks pretty nice. Though, there is alot of detail missing from the shot. Any closer pictures?

these are same as I put on my bike...proper for a '62 cb77...mine are a little weak in the "dream" department, these appear to be too...not really that noticeable on bike...I like 'em...Lee

Are they gold or is that just color cast from the setting? Look's great in any case.

Pale gold was the original inlay colour, Scott. The OEM emblems would fade, warp & crack in sunlight.

I took a pic but can't download from camera for some reason...anyway, it's partly the light, but they started out pretty gold, as did originals I understand. They've already faded a bit, mostly silver with just a touch of gold, so pretty authentic, I guess. Lee

Hah, I had no idea they were originally gold. Learn something new every day.

I guess they were, just more subtle than Lee's photo lended me to interpret. I checked out the repos on ClassicHondaRestoration.com. Certainly a gold tinge to em.
