custom restored dream badge

Post by Maloymerc » Tue May 19, 2009 11:54 pm

hello everyone.

since excellent conditon Dream badges are hard to find in our part of the world, i decided to restore my own beat up badge.but instead of restoring to look like stock, i put in my own custom flavor...

i hope you like it...

rants and raves are welcome.

Nice job indeed. Would love to see some pics of those on your bike to see the full effect. Post pics soon.

Maloy, the badge looks great. You do realize that Honda still sells the tin badges like the one you've customized? There is also a gentleman selling plastic repros for $50 a set, including new screws and shipping. The plastic ones are the correct replacemnts for your dream.

thanks for the compliment and FYI davomoto...in fact LOUD was offering me NOS tin badges for a cool price...but the thing is i live in asia and shipping costs might be a problem...i may eventually get the NOS ones when time and money permits, for the meantime, i'll have to do with what i have...

by the way, the reason i customized my badge was because my dream has a subtle custom paint also-two tone candy red and silver.i reckon it might match the theme.
