Current statistics show alarming rates of prostate cancer in males , with a considerable percentage of men contracting the disease within their lifetime.

A concerned bunch of riding fellows here is Perth WA created the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride (DGR) a ride to raise awareness and proceeds for research into the disease.

It has since been embraced around the globe.

The ride is targeted at those of classic styled motorcycles. I plan to be riding the trusty CB77.

Riders are also encouraged to "Dress Smart" and some take a light hearted approach including monocles and smoking pipes while wearing a grand tweed jacket for example.

I encourage others to check out the website. There may be a ride near your, or you may feel inspired enough to dust off that suite, round up some like minded motorcycle folk, and start a ride in your area. Details again on the website

The ride is not far off at all, scheduled for the 28th of September.

I rode this event yesterday in Portland Oregon about 500 riders nice weather, a very good cause and a great time. oh yeah I rode it on my 69 CA 305, it ran like a Dream Pat

We rode in the Detroit DGR.

I had another bike to ride so I let my friend ride my CA77....

She completely rocked it all day long....

2018 ride coming up soon sept 30 get the old Hondas out and support a good cause. coming to a city or town near you
