Many of us have backgrounds that aren't in engineering, covering all walks of life but with a common interest in 72 and 77 variants. I'm a welder fabricator. Give me a drawing and I'll build you a bridge weighing 100's of tons. Ask me to change a big end bearing on my CB and I'm struggling. I understand the principles, but the knowledge of application is missing.
Imagine a set of DVD's.
Disc 1 - Engine removal and strip. Tools required.
Disc 2 - Checking tolerances and engine rebuild.
Disc 3 - Carbs strip and adjustment/replacement of jets for variations such as different exhausts, air filters and altitude etc.
Disc 4 - How to lace a rim, brake overhaul and fork rebuild.
Disc 5 - Electrical with improvements such as electronic ignition.
How much would you pay? $75, $100, $150? Rebuild DVD's exist for Harleys,GT 750 Suzukis,RD350 Yamahas even Lambrettas! Would 30 forum members put a deposit down to get this off the ground? I know I would. Reputable engineers out there come on! Help get more 72's and 77's on the road.
Regards H.

I'm good for a set.
Being a total visual learner, the DVD would be a God send. I also work on fountain pens and an enterprising gentleman produced two fountain pen repair DVDs which are a great help.
LM I hear Hollywood calling your name.
You definitely need a tool time girl to help, however.

That stain was no accident! The production crew put it there....... thought it added to the authenticity!
By the way they voted down your request for Jamie Leigh Curtis as your mechanics assistant.. dang it!
