Good Day, I am restoring a Honda cb160 and am a little confused as to the year. Tha frame number is B160-1006262 and the engine number is B160E-1006250. i was told when I bought the bike it was a 1969 but when I looked on the wiring harness the number was 934851 1964. I always thought that the number on the harness was the year it was built, could someone please clear this up for me?
Thanks Dreaming,

I'd say 64 is right on. I would trust that harness tag alot more than what someone said it was. My 160 is 1036241 and is taged a 1965. I have no documentation to back this up, but the number sequence tells us its older.
64' CB77
65' CB160

Thanks, that would make more sense, but with these bikes you never know whats been changed or who did what to the bike. If somwone else has a cb160 and knows the year they could maybe give their serial number that would help.
