Where would I find a set of case screws? Where would I be able to find new clutch/friction plates and screws from?
Clutch issuesSearch with Google, but you can look at a set of case screws for your CA95 here: http://www.rimfire-eng.com/hondastore.htm You could find friction plates at David Silver Spares here https://www.davidsilverspares.com/CA95- ... rt_195765/ Try searching for other suppliers.
So I am still working through my clutch issues. Pulled the clutch plates and they all looked good, no signs of wear or blueing of the steel plates. The springs did measure around 31mm, not sure what the proper length is.
I am having a bear of a time removing the left crank case cover. I have removed all the case screws but it will not move more than 1/2 inch. Any tips that I am missing here? OK, I'm officially confused. If you pulled your clutch plates, you'd have had to have taken off the left crankcase cover. Do you mean you're having trouble taking off the right side case cover? If so, have you removed the stator cover? The stator is bolted to the case and the cover is screwed to the stator.
The clutch plates are in the right side cover, which has been removed. The left side will not come off, which has the points cover on it.
