305/350 alcohol dragster

Post by will » Mon Apr 23, 2007 7:38 pm

New member to the group, I thought to post a 1965 Superhawl fuel dragster. The bike was given to me this past summer. Prior it sat in a basement in Phila for 30 years. The bike has a 350 webco kit, lake injectors, dunstall exhaust, roller cam and uses a Corvair oil cooler. The lake injectors leak any suggestion? would be appreciated. Bike ran high 12's in it's day in E fuel, and won the Nationals in its class in 1970.

Hey will,

Now, if you feel the need to pass that bike on to someone else, don't be bashful. I'd even come and get it to keep from putting you out or anything. Ha!Ha! Seriously That is one cool looking bike. (I said, while drooling)

Hey Will,

You don't mind if I don't hold my breath do you? Seriously, if and when you get a chance, could you post some more pictures of the bike? That looks to be a very well built dragbike and it's a real pleasure to have seen it. Thanks for posting it. (still drooling! Ha!Ha!)

Later on, Bill

Awesome bike Will. A keeper for sure. I think that era was cool. At one time, that was a cool, leading edge drag bike. How times have changed. Now it's a cool leading edge vintage drag bike Have you run it yet? Plan to? If you do, a you-tube or google video would be neat. Imagine the cool stuff it ran against. Very nice Will.
