Beautiful fall day yesterday for a short ride -- temps were in the 50's, and I managed to hit the Baltimore County roads for a couple of hours.

Love how those red coachlines on the wheels 'pop' in the sunshine.

Late day photo of the SuperHawk before I put it away -- until the next ride!

Thanks for asking, Ed -- unfortunately I've only managed about 1400 miles this year, mostly comprised of weekend rides with friends and some on my own. The bike had been out of commission from January thru March this year because of the installation of the Cappellini oil pump, plus the wheels were out being painted by my friend Lee Hulteng, so my riding 'season' didn't start until March. So March-November, 1400 miles. Season's not quite over yet though!

I had plans to do a road trip this year, but it didn't materialize. I mean, I have done road trips this year (to Charlotte, North Carolina for work, and to Toronto, Ontario to visit family), plus trips to New Mexico, Montana, and most recently Germany, but they were all either by car or plane. I've been trying to strike a balance between doing trips on my own with doing trips with my wife, and a motorcycle trip this year would have tipped the scales in the wrong direction! Ah well, there's always next year....

I admit for you that isn't as many miles as usual but compared to others is a lot.
Thanks for the info. .........lm

I've done more miles on my ride-on lawnmower than on bikes this year. I'm promising myself to get back to it when I can but I always seem to be away from my bikes when the weather is nice.....
