Vince, I am going to try and put a thin blade fender on. If I can't get it to look right I'll go fender-less.
Davo, I like the freedom a custom project brings. Plenty of "damn" and "ah shit" moments, but in the end it is worth it.
G, Thanks for the link. Those are beautiful bikes. I have seen the CE71 that had 18" wheels and liked it. My original idea 3 years ago was to use CB77 drums front and back and a CB77 complete front end. Billy Aldridge did it and brought it to Mid-Ohio this year. I didn't see it but a friend of mine did and said it was sharp. I would like to try a different seat and see how it looks.
As things progress I'll add more photos.
