Insurance?

Post by Cheburashka » Tue Aug 21, 2012 8:22 am

My '65 CA78 is close enough to riding condition that I need to start thinking about insurance. I use Progressive for my PC800, but they don't do an online quote for anything as old as a Dream. Anyone here use Progressive for their vintage Honda, or can anyone recommend a company that they like?

Thanks

Like? I used Geico online. Less than $100 a year. I've never actually had to use it so I can't speak too much about how much I like it but it was easy.

Bike insurance

Double check again with Progressive, I have my policy with them for my '63 Dream, CB750, and a CT110. Liability only though, maybe that makes the difference.

I have agreed value on all my old bikes, including the dream. Can't remember for sure how much, at least $3k worth. but it's cheap. Also can't remember for sure who it's with. Started out as Grundy then was split off to another carrier.

but it's a group policy with my dream, 2 750 hondas, 2 650 triumphs, 1 norton, 1 guzzi, 1 ducati, and my 53 MG.

You might check in to that. Usually agreed value policies are tailored for vehicles that aren't used as daily riders, get's you all the coverage you could want, and is pretty cheap.
