I visited a tiny cycle swap this morning.
Last night we discussed what time we wanted to get to the event. I said arrive 8am. She thought that was a bit early so we decided 9am would be ok.
We got in the swap, and a few minutes later we got to watch two dreams get offloaded from a truck. Very cool, I got here in time! But when I asked the seller informed me that the pair had already been sold for $125.
One was mostly complete, missing seat upholstery, carb, air filter, clamshell carb cover, taillight, and one tank emblem.
Second was a rolling frame with taillight, license plate, handlebars and headlight/speedometer.
She agrees, we should have gotten there at 8am......
Good news: Next time there will be no debating the desired arrival time.
