Brake light staying on?..

My brake light is always on full..it appears to be closing all the way at the brake light switch on my 67 honda dream. Anyideas would be appreciated.thanks rob

Take the switch off and connect a meter across the terminals on the Ohms setting. If the contacts are made at both ends of the switch travel, you need a new switch...

It is possible to dismantle them but you have to be careful to be able to get them together again.

Thanks g-man will test switch.electrical stuff is my biggest downfall.
