spark plug gap

Post by mattc » Sat Aug 01, 2015 5:41 am

I have a late model CA 77 Dream (1966), what is the gap supposed to be for the spark plugs?
Thanks, Matt

According to the Rider manual, they recommend .027

Recommended Spark Plugs are NGK D6HW normal use and D8H for use under heavily stressed condition.

seems that rule of thumb has been.

Points systems around .028

Electronic systems around .035

I've not seen anything that really deviated from that by much if any.
