dream handlebars

Post by Kirkwon » Mon Apr 22, 2013 6:35 pm

Where there different options when it came to handle bars?

I have the high bars on my 63 Ca77 dream. I am wanting to go more flat or beach bar style on my restore. I want to stay with the internal routed stock throttle grip so .......... no aftermarket since they don't have the cutout.

thanks for the help.

If anyone has one plus a new throttle cable, I have a stock petcock to trade. You know how hard those are to find..

Kirk1,

If you have a Dremel and cutoff disks (about 10 good ones), you can just cut make your own cutout. It's not difficult if you have your original cutout bars to use as a template. Takes a couple of hours but mine has been working great for 2 years now. You can practice on an old set of bars if you want. Just take it slow and have a good hinge/slide part to keep dry fitting until you like the action. You really want to avoid binding for obvious reasons.
