seat brackets

Post by dlobby12 » Thu Feb 28, 2013 4:28 pm

Are their more than one seat bracket for the 305 dream.
I have the shorter one and my seat sits a little far back from the tank. I have seen longer brackets on eBay, could I have the wrong bracket.
Thanks Gents

Is your seat bracket for a CA92/95? If I have it right, they look very similar, but seats sit a little differently because the CA92/95 are about 80% the size of the CA72/77.

Not sure , it's the seat that came withe the bike. It looks to be the correct size.
I haven't measured it yet. I guess my question is do they make different size brackets because I have seen them on eBay, there is one for sale now , and I'm considering placing a bid, but I want to be sure before I do.
Thanks for the help.

I agree with combs... I've run into this before. You've got a C92/95 Bracket..... They look the same, but different length....

OK seat checks out to be the correct size, it just won't but up to the tank no matter how hard I push it forward. I've noticed on other seats that they sit a little higher and there is a little space between the seat and the frame.
