tires from coker

Post by rallenfontenot » Tue Dec 29, 2009 11:56 pm

My Dream 305 needed tires so I got some whitewalls. It says the tire is a B rating at 32 miles per hour. Any comments on this? Thanks

good the same tires on my dream. They're a bit slick on grass but do ok on the pavement if I behave and ride it like a dream is supposed to be ridden. There are not many choices in a 16 inch tire. The superhawk and scramble both have new technology street tires on them and seem much better in extreme situations, but maybe its my imagination. The dream still rides like a cloud flowing down the road. The other two are pretty much rough and brutal on the bumps. The coker tires are better than the dry rotted tires that were splitting, so anything was better.

I ran 90/90 18 on the hawk, front and rear. They are a tiny bit small than the rears and a tiny bit larger than the fronts. They are kenda's.

These tires are a bit of a crap shoot. Some come from Coker cracked or so I am told. Friend has a set on a Dream and has many miles on them including a 1200 mile trip around Lake Superior. Never knew they were rated for a such a low speed.
