will 3.50 x 16" tires fit?

Post by bigscooter » Thu May 22, 2008 9:17 pm

hi guys! i want to replace the scary old tires on my ca77 with some new black walls. i think IRC has 3.00, and 3.50, but no 3.25's. i think i'd like to go bigger, than smaller. does anyone know if i can squeeze the 3.50's under the fenders, front and rear?
thanks?

not that you asked for it , but my opinion is that Dreams look dumb with blackwalls......i suggest you put whitewalls on it

Guess I have a dumb Dream.I have heard some negatives about the Cokers as far as handling goes and reliability so I went with some blackwalls.

it would look great with whitewalls, but i like to do corners,
and those big fat sexy cokers don't have the profile for it.
plus my bike's not worthy of $250 tires :-)

i think your bike looks just fine!
i have a question on your seat though ... do the bottom of the springs rest on anything ?

hey thanks! those springs are just for looks. the seat pan is actually sitting on a felt pad on the frame.
a bracket could be made to make the springs function,
but the seat height would be a few inches taller.
