That just sounds like a connection working itself loose to me. Pop the headlight bucket off and see/check all the wire connections.

Don't switch anything around to 'see if That works.'

I have found its a lot like hiking in the forest: if you decide to take a shortcut, you wind up getting lost. And if you do get lost, just like in the woods, don't panic, and retrace your steps...

Its like this one time I was doing something in there, closed it up and went to start it: Nothing.
I was briefly puzzled. Then I got annoyed. Its just like being married:
"What's wrong, baby?"
(Bike sits there silently looking at me with her one glass eye...) "Hmmph -If you loved me you'd Know!"

Anyway...I took off the headlight, and after some inspection found that I had neglected to reconnect the main Black/Red wire off the ignition switch. Reconnected it and Vrooom, off we go.

Moral of the story is Don't Panic, Think Clearly, and Check Your Connections.

It's like a Venn Triangle - Pick Two.

Anyway - I hope this helps.
