artWhen I was rebuilding my CB I tried to convince my wife (who has a bachelor of fine arts degree) that what I was doing was "art." She didn't buy it for my attempt to restore my bike to somewhat original condition, but I think your efforts here qualify.

Jlee,
Haha... my wife moved to Boston to do her PHd so I have the house to myself! ;) I have the 305 on the main floor and there is now a CB550 in the basement (waiting to meet its reincarnation as a Cafe Racer). Yeah, the wife is coming back for christmas so I need to at least get the 305 off the main floor and out the door so that she doesnt catch me in the act... Just kidding, she is cool and loves how much i love working on bikes so she is fine with it so long as it doesnt stay there forever. -Sascha
Hey bigscoot...
The cable routing is done for all the lines with the exception of the throttle which I needed to get a new special cable made for because I replaced the throttle with a twist throttle instead of the interal pull one that was stock on the bike... Waiting on it to arrive. They are routing through the electrical wires holes on the top side of the fork at the moment. Why do you ask? -Sascha
a few years ago i tryed to mock up some clubmans on my little blue bike, but i couldn't find a graceful routing for the brake and clutch cables. i would have needed to drill holes in the headlight, or have the cables loop in front of the speedo(not allowing the bars to drop far enough for my liking).
