Hey Brewsky,

Its not my booth... Its a friends who normally paints high end sports cars.
Yeah, she is coming together nicely, I should have the majority of the reassembly completed within the coming week so I will have more picture updates to share. I have a few 'suprises' for you boys! ;)

More pics guys...

One is of the rear and front fender with what I like to call 'accent holes' cut into them...

The other picture is the gas tank with the new bung welded in and new brass gas cap.

They just got back from paint and I will start the complete rebuild as of sunday probably!

Hey Guys,

Does anyone have an extra set of tank cushions for the front mount? There are 2 that push onto a peg, Im having a hard time coming across them... Alternatives?

The re-do

Post by conbs » Sat Nov 27, 2010 1:28 pm

Sascha,

I lean more toward the purist side of Dreams. They were beautiful bikes out of the box. Still are.

When I saw the pictures of your very beautiful bike and your comment that you were going to change it, I admit I thought, "Has this guy lost his mind?"

On seeing the subtle and tasteful changes you are making, I confess I am really taken in. Your vision for your bike is really something. I even like the color. I can not wait to see the completed project.

Conbs... Thanks for that note, I agree they are absolutely stunning bikes but I really wanted to make mine very special to me so I put my hard work and a lot of thought into it. I tried my best to avoid butchering its beauty. Here is where I am at now... What do you think guys!?
