Winterizing

Post by ggray » Thu Nov 08, 2007 8:30 am

Joe or anyone else,

Are there any other winterizing tips for letting our bikes sit over the Winter months you can share?

I.e., tires, eliminating moisture buildup in the tank and exhaust systems, etc.

Sorry to hear you are putting yours away for the winter Joe. This is some of the best riding weather of the year for us.

Other than the gas draining(don't forget the carb bowl) and making sure the battery is charged and brought in from the cold not much more.May want to drain the oil and put fresh in for the spring.Joe
