Tail light lens

Hey everyone, been trying to hunt down a new lens for my tail light...mine fell off and broke somewhere on a ride. Tried Charlies Place, Ohio Cycle (He said I'd need a whole new bracket, etc)...is this not the stock unit that came on the bike? Any ideas on where to buy a new lens...or should I just plan on getting a entirely new bracket?

It is definitely not a late tail light. Yours looks like an early bike, but I don't have one so I can't help out with a visual. The pictures in my parts manuals look like the early lights were rectangular. That is, no point on the top like yours.

It's a 62 305 Dream...I'm wondering if maybe the previous owner(s) put an aftermarket or some other bracket on there?

It looks aftermarket judging by the lens. Since you don't have a side shot I can't see the bracket. My 1962 Dream had the spot welded tail light bracket with the short tail light lens.

It's a copy of the early style Lucas tail light. There are lots of them around, suggest you troll the brit bike section of ebay.
