Fish - It's great to hear your friend came through his surgery successfully. Good luck with the bike.

Graham - It's hard for me to believe you have trouble with your name here. I grew up in the South, mostly South Carolina, and have always known Graham as a first name. I guess it stems from the close ties that the South has always had with Great Britain. Anyway, I enjoy your posts.

Thanks for that. I blame Billy.....

It really is a great forum with plenty of different perspectives.

Nice place South Carolina, I did some work with Wabtec down there.

The only other Graham I know lives in Victoria BC, but people call him Grey. He's a great guy!

No more progress to note as of yet, except that I figured out the chain issue... it was in gear. Put it in neutral and everything fit together perfect. Sometimes even I have to wonder if all the dumb stuff I did in my younger days left me without a full deck!

While I'm here, here's a couple pictures of it. Please excuse the decor... I have a an old bug on jack stands in the garage so I'm working on this on the floor in the bar. Also, I'm posting two pictures of parts I can't figure out. Any help on those would be appreciated.

First pic looks like centerstand spring and hook, second are split collars for exhaust mounting to head.
