Nice catch on the badges, I didnt even notice they were backwards. The seat I made from the stock one. I cut it down and made a pan, then a local guy (Mr. Eds custom motorcycle seats) put the foam and leather on. The old tires were totally cracked as the bike was found under an enclosed front porch by the new owner of the house where it had been abandoned. The license plate sticker was from 1981 so it had been there awhile.

Nice work -- definitely appreciate a 'new' take on our bikes.

So how does it ride? How is that riding position -- particularly with that lower seat and lower handlebar arrangement?

The bike rides pretty firm but not harsh. It handles around corners like you would not believe. The only issue I have had is its pretty low with the big mufflers (they are off a late 80's Honda Nighthawk) I took a sharp lefthander the other day and it scraped the kickstand pretty hard. With the down bars and your feet on the back pegs you actually feel like a part of the bike. I have a very original "64 Dream and it is a totally different feel then this bike. In short its alot of fun to ride.
Here is the only profile pic I shot. Again thanks for the nice comments

Ah-mazing! I just got a 67 from my dad. I have had some differing thoughts about what I want it to look like, original, custom, some hybrid... but this bike blows it all away! And all for $1100! Wow! I am very impressed!

Are those Clubman bars? They are a nice "cafe" touch to the bike!

Man, I really like that seat. It fills in the space of the long seat but flows so much better with the frame. I have a second dream that is a parts donor that would look great like this.
