Post by KellieLyyne » Sat Apr 30, 2011 10:57 pm

I bought pipes from APEXCYCLE, and they seem ok for my CA95, and I thought id be able to pick up a pair for my CA77, but they are still sold out. I checked bikebanit, and cms, does anyone else know a good source for these pipes beisdes THAILAND or JAPAN?

weren't these bikes built in Japan? I don't know where to find them here, but if they are available from Japan, why not? I have bought many parts for my Kawasaki voyager from Japan without problems and with very reasonable shipping fees. Before I was buying on line, I would go to the Kawasaki dealer here and they would order the parts from Japan. Not trying to provoke an argument, just sayin'...Mark

I am sure you have seen them, but if not, search ca77 pipe on Ebay, and an nos set comes up at a fairly reasonable price (in my opinion anyway), albeit in Thailand...Mark

Hi Mark, I have purchased many items over seas, and I haven't had much of an issue either except for the time it takes go get them here. That is why I was looking for something closer. I am at the tail end of my resto and the weather is gorgeous, I just didn't want to wait 3 weeks to a month for pipes to show up. But thanks for your help. I talked to Tom at Apex, and he told me that the CB77 pipes are pretty darn close the CA77 pipes, but a tad shorter. Which just might be perfect since the Dunstall pipes that I ordered were a little longer than I originally wanted. So who knows, maybe it all will work out in the end. If not then I will be buying and waiting for pipes from Thailand. lol.

Yeah I know what you mean. I try to have several projects going at once, each in various different stages, all with parts on the way. That way something comes almost every day and the wait doesn't seem so long. Not for everyone, but it works for me...Mark
