Do ya have the screws in the proper location.
If so how did ya adjust the air screw.
Check for a leak with carb cleaner. ..............lm

Also, the carb body can become warped from overtightening the mounting screws, a common occurence. If so, that O ring may not seal.
Have you tried richening the idle mix screw? (the one closest to the motor)
Thanks, I'll replace that other oring, The idle mix screw does not seem to have any effect, any ideas or clues from this? Should I put the originals back in. I read in an older thread to not use any of the brass in the kit. Thanks for the help...Mark

Are they interchangeable? That could be it, I assumed that they were not. Can you describe which goes where? Thanks...Mark P.S. I put the air screw at 1 1/8 turns out...

I put the originals back in and she is idling like a champ. The "new" throttle screw was noticeably a different size...Thanks a million...Mark

The air screw has a tapered blunt end and the slide screw has a long shaft and rounded end. .......lm

OK after finding out how common it is for the carb base to be warped, I pulled the carb to check it and it must have been .25 MM or more out. I filed it down with a fine file, put the original screw adjusters in and she purred like a Kitten, right up to the point that she ran out of gas....Doooooh, Oh well, off for more gas and i'll report back, but I think she's runnin' right now, Thanks again for all the help...Mark
