Thanks for input guys, it is appreciated.

No response from the seller for a week. I guess I will just wait it out and check back later. Unfortunatley, it is not a road I travel a lot and won't have many chances to check and see if it is still there.

Upon, checking back and taking a better look all of the chrome probably needs to be re-done and shows rust. The wheels have been painted and are popping rust. The second paint job was looking like it was ready for a third.

I looked at one last week in about the same condition for 250.00
it was a good deal and sold in one day. for 1300 it should be in running condition not a total restore.
The amount of money that you can sink into a basket case is huge. If i had it to do again I would spend more on the front side and buy one like Tango's rather a basket case.

for $2500 you should be able to find a really nice rider. $3k to $4k would be mint or close to it.

when you use the searchtempest you need to try different search titles. some people may not know its a dream so look under honda 305, honda dream, dream, 305, etc.....
