Why no left side!!!

Post by versuspop » Fri Jan 15, 2010 4:21 pm

Seems impossible to find used left side (battery) cover. There is, however an abundance of right side covers( a couple or so everytime) on ebay. Any theories? Anyone got a crap one to sell me?

Hi,

It's in the name : left battery cover

The acid (after years of neglecting) will finally reach the battery cover with a hole in the cover as a result. When the dream is on it's side stand (left side) things are getting even worse.

That could also be the reason that there are more right side mufflers then left side mufflers (but that's wild guess).
I also see more scratched left side mufflers then right side mufflers. It appears, but I don't know for sure (read it somewhere) that the right turn is more difficult, so people are more careful.

People take more risks doing a left turn, because they feel saver, but are not.

A lot of old bikes people take the batteries out of and never put the covers back on then sits around for years and gets lost.

That's hilarious! they are a mile from my house! Normally, they never have 305 body stuff. They do have a large crate of 305 engines though...
